Music played a major role in bringing together Lauren and Mike. The two first ran into each other at a mutual friend’s house and Lauren, who was playing in a band at the time, invited Mike to check out her show the next night. He did, and the two wound up going out afterward and staying up until 7 a.m. laughing and talking. Halfway through the show, Broussard called the couple on stage. As soon as they stepped up on stage, a very bold Mike proposed to Lauren in front of hundreds of music fans. Following the big yes, Broussard performed their favorite song especially for them. To complement the natural beauty of their ceremony setting, the two chose green and pink to accent their black and white palette.
