Although they grew up just 15 minutes apart, Diana and Eric didn’t meet until their freshman year at the University of Georgia. They started out as friends, but by the time second semester rolled around Diana started to feel something more. By the summer, they were dating. After dinner, Eric suggested they take a walk on the beach. “I thought it was funny,” says Diana, “He wouldn’t normally suggest it.” There, by the water, Eric proposed under the moonlight. “The whole moment was so surreal,” says Diana. After a year-long engagement, Diana and Eric exchanged vows in an outdoor wedding at the Tate House, located at foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. “I loved it immediately. It had the garden look and feel that I had been imagining,” says Diana. To flatter the natural beauty of the space, they decorated with a color palette of moss green and charcoal gray.
