The Couple

A poignant moment came with the last toast, given by the mother of the bride -- she had adapted the toast given by Laura's father, who passed away in 1995, at Laura's brother's wedding ten years and one day prior. I was very proud of my mom, the bride says. She did very well and gave an excellent welcome for everyone. No one said their goodbyes till late that night, including the bride and groom, who left nearly last of all.
