Friends since age 12, Staysi and David lost touch in high school but reconnected in college. Staysi moved to California after finishing school, and when she returned to Las Vegas several years later, the two finally became a couple. On a weekend trip to San Diego, as they strolled on the beach watching the sunset, David dropped to one knee and proposed. Staysi long envisioned a wedding in pink; adding black-and-white elements to emulate Morrison’s artwork produced a simple but modern ambience.
