Mackenzie and Scott were high school sweethearts and continued dating right through college. One Christmas Eve, Kentucky had just had a blizzard and everything was covered in snow. Scott asked Mackenzie out onto a balcony overlooking the winter wonderland— -- he had spelled out “Will you marry me?” in Christmas lights down in the backyard. She and Scott chose a cheerful color scheme of pink, orange, and green, setting a joyful tone for their autumn wedding.
