Anne & Ryan in Portland, OR

Anne and Ryan first met in high school, where they dated on and off until Anne left the area to study abroad for a year. Not willing to give up, as soon as she returned to the States, Anne and Ryan began their I-5 Romance, trekking back and forth between Eugene (where Anne was finishing up her senior year in school) and Portland (where Ryan was enrolled). After graduation, Anne made the drive one last time, moving to Portland to be with Ryan. They relaxed, spending an afternoon at the spa, riding Vespas around the town, and enjoying a picnic dinner at the Butchart Gardens while watching fireworks on the night of their anniversary. When the fireworks ended, the couple went on a stroll through a Japanese garden where Ryan got down on one knee and proposed.
