With the help of her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Natalie Anderson and Bill Mahr planned a country club wedding that was anything but stuffy. Vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows help set the fun, light-hearted mood that reflected the couple’s own personalities. And before she had the chance to work up the nerve, Bill and his family moved to Toledo just after eighth grade. Five years later, the two reconnected through a mutual friend -- but the long-distance gods were still having their fun. After college, Bill was offered a job in Iowa. Natalie went to visit as often as she could, and on one particular weekend, Bill surprised her with an elaborate lunch – and a ring! With the long-distance part of their relationship finally over (Natalie soon moved out to Iowa to be with Bill), it was time to being a new phase of separation anxiety: long-distance planning. Luckily, Bill’s mom proved to be invaluable, doing all of the footwork needed to pull together a country club wedding in Toledo.
