Traditional Chinese Lion Dance

Yan and Stephen paid tribute to their Chinese roots during the reception with a traditional lion dance. The dance is traditionally performed during the reception as a blessing bestowed upon the newlyweds. During the dance, the lion presents the couple with gifts, such as oranges to represent prosperity and bamboo to symbolize strength and fertility.
