Susan and David incorporated a number of traditional elements throughout the reception as a nod to their Afghan and Jewish backgrounds. Clad in traditional afghani dresses, the bridesmaid performed the attan for the newlyweds, then Susan and David did the hora before cutting their wedding cake.
