The Reception

The final chapter of the day came with a reception held at Erin and Joe's historic home in Denver's Cheesman Park. Indoors there was a bright green and white color scheme, with the couple's three-tier wedding cake display as the center of attention. Three generations of family photos adorned the walls in frames Erin had made, and a large-screen TV featured a slideshow of photos of the bride and groom. Everyone laughed at Joe, age 4, in his Superman costume, and me, age 16, competing in a teen pageant with big hair! Erin says.
