The Gown

“After trying on my mother’s wedding dress, which she wore in 1972, I knew I wanted to have my dress made from her lace,” Lisle says. A local Dallas designer, Patti Flowers, made Lisle’s ideas come to life. She created an ivory silk, fitted A-line gown that used Alencon lace from the mother-of-the-bride’s dress on the bodice. A hand-dyed vintage silk apricot-hued ribbon at the waist brought in the wedding palette.
