The First Dance

The Simone Vitale Band, local favorites who have played for the President as well as for various celebrity audiences, rolled out a mix of Motown and old classics and treated Alicia to a pair of memorable serenades. First, one of the original members of The Four Tops made an appearance with the band and sang for the bride. Then, near the end of the reception, they sang 'My Girl' and had Nate come up on stage and sing with them, Alicia says. Another highlight of the evening for Alicia is the memory of Nate and his mother, dancing to a song they used to dance to around the house: Sea of Love by the Honeydrippers.
