The Cake

Dessert was actually part of the table centerpieces -- the couple placed individual 7-inch round cakes, each topped with an orchid, on pedestals surrounded by votive candles and flower petals. The cakes alternated by table: Guests enjoyed either an ivory-frosted blackberry mousse -- the cake of choice at the head table -- or a decadent triple chocolate.
