The Cake

Haley and Ben were so astonished by their baker’s cakes that they chose them in spite of the great distance the confections had to travel -- the bride’s parents drove the cakes 80 miles to Bloomington the day before the wedding. The bride’s cake was a four-tiered cake covered in vanilla-flavored brown scrollwork and topped with a simple metal “N.”
