The Cake

Meagan and Jake cut a three-tier cake decorated with olive leaves and their monogram. The bottom tier featured chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and mousse; the middle tier was almond cake flavored with raspberry preserves (the bride’s favorite). Meagan asked for the top tier to be carrot cake filled with cream cheese frosting as a surprise to Jake for their one-year anniversary. But the surprise was revealed a bit too soon: We devoured it when we returned from the honeymoon! Meagan says. The cake was the best I have ever had.
