Haley & Ben: A Country Club Wedding in Bloomington, IN

Just after Haley DeLon moved to Indiana, she spotted Benjamin Nyboer working behind the counter at the local pharmacy. She made numerous excuses to return, but nothing ever came of it. Two years later, Haley was at a party when she spotted a great-looking guy across the room. The two eyed each other all night, and as Haley was leaving, she worked up the nerve to approach him and say, “It was nice looking at you all night.” He said he thought he knew her, and he did -- it was Ben from the pharmacy. “He asked me out the next day,” she said, “and from then on, we’ve never been apart.” The Bride Haley DeLon, 25, stylist and esthetician The Groom Benjamin (Ben) Nyboer, 27, sales and marketing coordinator The Date July 7 Working together with the bride’s mother, the couple set out to make every element of Haley’s dream wedding come true. “Even though it was the hardest thing we’ve ever done, I’ll always cherish the memories that I have of working on this together,” Haley says. She and Ben chose to marry at the country club in the town where they met. As they were both in school at the time they got engaged, they chose a date for three years later. The long engagement only meant more time for the two to make certain that every detail fell into place.
