Suzanne & Tripp in Cashiers, NC

Tripp and Suzanne often visit his Dad's summer home in Cashiers on Lake Glenville. It's also the scene of some of their very best memories as a couple: It was where Tripp first told Suzanne he loved her, and where, four years after they met, he proposed on a rock overlooking a waterfall. The Bride Suzanne Frydman, a television development assistant The Groom Tripp Reed, a filmmaker The Date August 10 Tripp always imagined getting married on the lake, says Suzanne, and I couldn't think of a more appropriate place to say our vows. The ceremony took place on a peninsula known as The Point. Tripp and his groomsmen built a huppah from fallen trees; and instead of chairs, bales of hay were arranged with an aisle down the center. Guests were ferried to The Point and back to the reception site, Trillium Landings, on deck boats.
