Childhood friends, Laura and Josh didn’t start dating until they graduated college. Three years into their relationship, Laura was the maid of honor in her cousin’s wedding and happened to catch the bouquet -- perfect because Josh was planning to propose the next night! With some convincing (it was cold!), Laura agreed. When the couple stumbled upon Josh’s prewritten message, Laura thought they had found someone else’s engagement. Josh pulled out a ring and had to ask for her hand five times before Laura got over the shock and said yes. They held the festivities at Laura’s grandparent’s nearby farm, creating an earthy wedding with lots of fall colors and pumpkins.
