Love bloomed later for Jolene and Daniel, who lived on the same floor of a dormitory at the University of Minnesota. They were both dating different people at the time, but a year-and-a-half later, when Jolene returned home from studying abroad, Dan emailed her and asked if she wanted to get together. “We started dating shortly after,” says Jolene.
