The striped cake served as the inspiration behind the entire wedding theme. As far as flavor goes, when Karmin, who says she has a “cake obsession,” realized Adam (not as much of a cake person) was completely silent during the cake tasting—and had actually finished every bite of his sample—she knew they had found a winner in the salted caramel with buttercream.
