Four months after meeting, Edgar and Macio took their first trip together, to the Caribbean. The ocean, the cliff and a dinner table for two at the W Hotel on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico, is where Macio arranged for a plate with a ring box floating on crushed ice and orchids to be presented to Edgar.
