Pillars of Love

“The only thing I asked Edgar for was thousands of roses and cherry blossom trees,” Macio says. “Trees? How come?” Edgar asked. “I don’t care, make it happen,” Macio said. And Edgar made it happen: He made six custom cherry blossom trees. The flowers were imported from China and took eight months to get. “For the Japanese, cherry blossoms mean friendship, prosperity, love and sharing,” Macio says. “And those are the basic pillars of our love.”
