Miniature Blackberry Tarts
Let’s Pretend catered the event and blew the couple and their guests’ taste buds out of the water with a spread of delicious local and seasonal eats. Passed appetizers like spiced chicken empanadas with salsa verde, grilled flatbreads and mini Maine crab cakes with spicy remoulade were served during cocktail hour, followed by a summer salad boasting fresh strawberries, maple bourbon glazed chicken, herb-crusted rack of lamb and spring quinoa salad. Dessert didn’t disappoint either, with Mia and Mike serving up an array of indulgent sweets, from classic wedding cake to apple cider doughnuts and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cups. There was even a late night snack to keep the party going, including mini Reubens and cheeseburger sliders.
