Exchanging Vows at Shelburne Farms

While the couple originally intended to exchange vows outdoors overlooking Shelburne Farms’ acres of rolling hills and lush forests, the weather had other plans. Rain was in the forecast for the afternoon, so planner Sabrina Brown of Woodstock Productions decided to host the ceremony inside the historic inn. The decor for the ceremony was classic and understated, with bouquets of bright blue hydrangeas, berries and peonies arranged in Mason jars lining the aisles and a birch chuppah with cascading seasonal blooms and vines creating the backdrop for the affair. “Mike’s mother specializes in Judaic quilting, so we were very lucky to get married under her beautiful artwork,” says Mia.
