Liz hadn’t realized she met her future husband while checking out the graduate program at Wake Forest. Liz met Luke briefly at a school-sponsored party, but didn’t hear from him again until she got a call from the departmental secretary suggesting she move into Luke’s house while he was stationed in Iraq. They stopped at a bridge overlooking a stream and as they were hugging, Luke pulled the ring out of his pocket.
