Two years after they first met as Auburn University undergrads, Britton Henig finally asked Lindsey Wallace out on a date. Years later, on Britton’s request, Lindsey stopped by their new house to see something he’d just gotten for it. “Tired and downtrodden from the week, I strolled into the house to find a rose-petal pathway lined with candles leading me to Britton on one knee,” she remembers. The Bride Lindsey Wallace, 25, branding specialist The Groom Britton Henig, 27, assistant VP of commercial lending The Date May 12 Lindsey and Britton chose to marry in the bride’s hometown. To assist the couple and the mother of the bride in making arrangements, Lindsey and Britton hired a wedding and event planner in Nashville who Lindsey says “helped tie everything together just the way I had pictured it.” They chose an all-white theme to contrast with the black tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses. “It was classic, timeless, and beautiful -- just what I wanted,” the bride says.
