Mollie Richards and Aaron George met in grade school, but they didn’t become friendly until Mollie’s senior year of high school. They went on their first date to the prom. However, after a few dates, there wasn’t a serious connection, and Mollie left for college at Mississippi State University. A year later Mollie decided to relocate to attend dental hygiene school in Meridian where Aaron was playing baseball. Six months later, they rekindled their romance. After dinner, they ordered a fresh pot of chocolate dipping sauce for dessert, and while it was warming up, Aaron asked Mollie to be his wife. “I was so excited that I didn’t even get to enjoy the dessert, which probably would have been the best part,” recalls Mollie. “But I got something way better!” Shortly after the proposal, they began planning a wedding in their hometown of Vicksburg.
