Kerrie had been with Cory for five years when she visited him in Dallas (she was living in Houston at the time). The two were leaving for St. Louis for their annual St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs game. Kerrie, who’s a lifelong Cards fan, expected to meet Cory, who loves the Cubs, at his house -- but instead, he pulled up to his house where she was waiting and took her to their favorite sushi restaurant.
