It took Jamie an entire year to ask Jill out on a date. When the pair finally went out on a warm fall evening, they grabbed dinner at one of Jill's favorite restaurants. Dinner turned into drinks and bonding over jukebox songs at one of Jamie's favorite bars. The couple ended up dating for the next three years. We were on the corner of Kossuth and Mohawk, right in front of the exact location of our first date, the spot where I always knew I would propose to Jill, says Jamie. As they were leaving the restaurant, Jamie bent down to tie his shoe. I knew he wasn't tying his shoe, the second he knelt down! Of course I said, 'Yes.' says Jill. The Ohio-raised couple waited 21 months to use a pink and green color palette at their dream May wedding in Columbus.
