The evening they arrived, Jamie gave Erin her gift, a jigsaw puzzle. They worked on it each night until finally there was just one piece left -- in the shape of an engagement ring. “I hadn't realized how nervous I would be,” Jamie says. “And the timing was entirely dictated by the completion of the puzzle.” Neither can remember exactly what Jamie said, but the most important thing was that Erin said yes.
