After their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” Carla and her father danced to “Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo. “My father is a retired colonel in the Army Reserves and he served a tour in Iraq,” Carla says. “When he returned home, the whole family went to Hawaii for two weeks, which is why this song had a very special meaning.”
