Wishing Stone Ceremony Tradition

Tommy’s sister was also married at Castle Hill a few years before. Wanting to start a family tradition, Kim and Tommy incorporated a part of her wedding ceremony into theirs. They had guests toss a stone into the ocean with a wish for the newlyweds. The stones were displayed in a metal box with a sign that said, “To continue the Wilkes family Castle Hill tradition, please toss a stone into the water with a blessing or a prayer for the new couple.”
