Whimsical Manzanita Branch Centerpieces
While the Colony Club was striking on its own, the couple enlisted the help of Blossoms in Birmingham, Michigan, to give the space a touch of romantic flair. The talented team of florists created two centerpieces for the tables, tall understated bunches of baby’s breath and low arrangements of ivory hydrangeas and blush roses. Candlelight cast a soft, warm glow over the room and made the tables’ many gilded accents shimmer in the light. “I loved the idea of the baby’s breath looking like pretty snowballs in the ballroom,” Liana says. Manzanita branches decorated with white orchids, baby’s breath, roses, peonies and hanging candles brought a whimsical quality to the head table, setting it apart from the rest of the room.
