New Hampshire natives Amy and Steven knew that there was no place better to host their spring nuptials than their home state. Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire, offered a stunning backdrop for the day with its waterfront location and proximity to Portsmouth, a historic port city with an abundance of shops, restaurants and cobblestone streets. “We are both from New Hampshire and wanted to stay local, since the majority of our families are from here and the Northeast,” Amy says. “That way traveling wouldn’t be too difficult for them. We also love the ocean and playing golf together, so the Wentworth was perfect.”
