The pair gathered their family and friends in their home state for the springtime affair, planning an elegant, romantic day at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye, New Hampshire. Breathtaking views of the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean formed the backdrop for the couple’s sunny ceremony on the Wentworth’s expansive lawn, with bunches of fresh summery blooms like hydrangeas, peonies, roses and more adding a whimsical, romantic edge to the seaside spot. Pastel hues and gilded accents filled the Sperry sailcloth tent where the reception was held, with equestrian accents like miniature gilded horseshoe escort cards and horse-show ribbon table numbers introducing a note of playfulness to the classic decor. “I’m a horse lover and grew up riding horses, so I knew I wanted to include some horsey elements here and there,” Amy says. Other noteworthy details included a quilt square “guest book,” flower seed bomb favors and dozens of chic gold-lettered signs that served to narrate the day. The Wentworth by the Sea fueled the party with a decadent spread of Parmesan truffle fries, beef tenderloin and grilled salmon, while Nazzy Entertainment brought the house down with upbeat dance hits.
