As freshmen at Miami University, Wendy and Cliff lived on the same dorm floor and occasionally passed each other in the hall. Their sophomore year they had a class together, and during their junior year they both studied abroad in the same program in Luxembourg. As they reminisced about their relationship, Cliff mentioned that he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with Wendy. “I started to respond and then looked over to see him down on one knee,” she says. Eight months later, they married in Wendy’s hometown.
