“I attacked wedding planning like a business problem—I was the project leader while key people kept the day to day activities moving along,” Katie says. “My first step was to hire a wedding planner. Our wedding would not have happened without the help of our two wedding planners, my parents and my husband’s parents.” With over 215 people in attendance, Katie wanted to ensure each guest's experience was fun, relaxing and memorable. She scheduled many extra activities throughout the weekend to bring everyone together, including a luncheon, a golf outing and a Runaway Bride 5K.
