The Theme

Sareh and Dallas selected a palette of blues to complement the wedding's oceanside setting. Blue is such a peaceful color, Sareh comments. We also incorporated a lot of white to keep everything clean and a little modern. A wave motif was used on the invites and favors, which Sareh handmade herself. We used a really island-y but elegant font to show the casual but elegant theme we wanted to have, she says. For the first six months of our engagement we had been planning on having a big, formal wedding in Washington -- these definitely said, 'change of plans!'
