The Reception Decor

At the reception, the color yellow helped set the tone for a lively, beautifully turned-out evening. The centerpieces combined cut-up lemons and limes with white hydrangea and yellow roses in tall glass vases; the lemon-flavored wedding cake was heaped with yellow rose petals; yellow gingham ribbon accented the place cards... Yellow is my favorite color, says the bride. It's so happy and cheerful. So too was the energy suffusing the celebration -- it didn't die down till midnight.
