The Reception Decor

Sabeen and Dave exchanged vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony performed in Arabic and in English. For the lunch reception in the Ritz-Carlton’s ballroom, the bride worked within the existing palette of gold, fuchsia, and pink. There were gold embroidered linens, centerpieces of fuchsia and coral peonies, and plenty of warm candlelight. And little personal touches included every guest: A separate children’s table had special kids’ favors and candy centerpieces.
