The Gown

Mandy's gown provided the initial inspiration for the wedding’s style. The strapless, silk charmeuse, mermaid silhouette featured a mocha-hued sash pinned with an antique vintage brooch that had belonged to her paternal grandmother who had passed away. This stylish detail that used one of the bride’s favorite colors, paired with a vivid green, set the palette for the celebration. I thought that green was a great color for an outdoor summer reception and complemented the chocolate color, Mandy says. As the rest of the details fell into place, the stage was set for a simple, elegant wedding.
