The Ceremony

While Shauna and Randy exchanged vows in the picturesque back yard of a lakeside home, four of their artistic friends captured the scene on two easels. Though the couple isn't Jewish, they married under a huppah strung on fishing line, so it appeared to be floating over us, Shauna says. Shauna and Randy took communion during the ceremony, and also washed each other's feet before their 200 guests. We wanted to start our lives together with a symbol of serving each other and being humble towards one another, Shauna says.
