The Ceremony

The ceremony was held in the historic Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, famous for its “miraculous stairway” leading to the choir loft. The couple exchanged vows at 5:30, taking maximum advantage of the sunlight streaming in through the chapel’s rose-tinted window. Because the chapel only held 130 of the couple’s 220 guests, a live video feed was broadcast next door to the Inn at Loretto’s ballroom. Many guests said they had a better view of the ceremony, “especially when the chapel doors were opened and the wind draft caught my veil and went flying away.”
