The Ceremony

Hedy Lynn and John were married in early autumn, at Saint Columba Catholic Church in Oxon Hill just as the sun was setting. The photographers came to my mother's house two hours before the ceremony, before the sun went down, to take pictures in her garden, says Hedy Lynn. Her backyard looked like a park. She'd been working on this garden for a year, ever since John and I got engaged. There were beautiful, colorful flowers beds, park benches, and even light posts.
