The Ceremony
After a year-long engagement, Emily and Sam exchanged vows before 200 people in a traditional Episcopalian ceremony at the historic Falls Church, established in 1732. Choosing the Falls Church was an obvious one for Emily and Sam -- the church’s style suited them perfectly and the bride had been a church member and youth group leader. Stumbling across the tombstone of one of Sam’s ancestors sealed the deal -- the couple laid a bouquet on the grave on their wedding day.
