The Ceremony

The couple wed in the theater of an Austin villa, among red crushed velvet seats and a candlelit mirrored wall. Her sister-in-law’s father officiated and read from The Art of A Good Marriage by Wilferd A. Peterson. “My favorite part is, ‘Happiness in marriage is never being too old to hold hands,’” says Megan. “I love it because I think Nate and I will be that 80-year-old couple who still adores each other like that.” For a memorable recessional, Megan and Nate were presented as a couple to Etta James’ “At Last.”
