The Cake

Addie and Kevin cut a four-tier fondant-covered cake adorned with blue and green hydrangea. The flavor inside was grasshopper cake -- chocolate cake with crème-de-menthe chocolate ganache and chocolate chip filling. On the cake table, the thoughtful couple also stocked boxes filled with extra pieces of cake for guests who were too full to sample the dessert -- or who simply wanted more. I was very adamant on having the cake to-go boxes after going to so many weddings and not being able to ever enjoy a piece of cake! the bride says. We wanted to make sure that each of our guests would have the chance to grab a slice.
