The Cake
Kim and Wayne worked with their cake designer to concoct the perfect dessert. The three-tier cake featured different flavors and decorations on each tier, and was topped off with a chocolate S. The top tier was classic white wedding cake iced in ivory with chocolate fondant polka dots. The middle tier was chocolate cake with peanut butter icing decorated with ivory scrolls. The bottom tier again featured classic white cake, but this time with chocolate and ivory fondant stripes. They also had their baker include ribbon charms in the icing -- each of Kim's bridesmaids pulled one out, with each charm representing a different fortune. It was a fun way to incorporate them into the cake cutting! Kim says.
