The Cake
Jenn and Chris chose a four-tiered cake with ivory buttercream frosting. A wide, brown satin ribbon was wrapped around each tier, and the bride’s parents’ 1963 cake topper finished it off. The middle layer was supposed to be chocolate cake with amaretto filling, but to surprise Chris, Jenn had the baker swap out that tier and turn it into a separate groom’s cake with a KU Jayhawk on it.
