The Cake

One of the bride’s parents’ neighbors, who made most of Kate’s childhood birthday cakes, created Kate and Krist’s wedding cake. The couple cut a three-tiered cake with black and green grosgrain ribbon accents. There were also two single-tiered cakes with the same decor. The couple had their baker include four charms on the cake that were attached to ribbons -- each of Kate’s bridesmaids chose a ribbon and pulled out a charm to get a fortune.
